January 10
I was wearing my Beecake T-shirt today. Hence the bee (with alien eyes) and the horribly gaudy cake. (It’s also unevenly frosted because the marker was dying.) Beecake, if you’re wondering, is a band featuring Billy Boyd and three other very nice guys who I know very little about. They were playing some small venues on the east coast of the States and I was lucky enough to get to see them!
January 9
There was a funny moment at my friend’s house when she decided to take a bite out of a banana peel. I was inspired to draw some (very out of scale) fruit.
January 8
I went to stay at my friend’s house in New Hampshire this weekend. We spent a lot of the time on her couch watching Doctor Who. I’m trying to spread the obsession brilliance! That’s me on the right, and Annie on the left. She does not, in fact, have one freakishly long arm, and their couch is not that ugly. I took some creative liberties. Also, she is not wearing a sweatband. That’s just where her hair ends.
January 7
I worked from 1:30 to 5:00 today, instead of my usual 2:30 to 5:00. An extra $7.40 for me! I also drew some arrows in case anyone forgot how time works. In a linear sense, that is. Not the wibbly-wobbly kind.

Just doodles. But I quite like that blue thing. And the orange one looks like the Nickelodeon logo meets a golf course.
